The Big Bear High Altitude is a team experience, and since you asked to go, you all will be a part of it. Here are some of the events you will be participating in over five days.
- Most of your main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are paid for by the camp. (Snacks that you buy are paid for by you)
- We will have workouts twice a day. (Early in the morning and in the afternoon)
- We will go bowling one day. (Camp pays for that)
- You will be a part of a cooking and cleaning crew for one whole day (3 meals).
- We go to the Big Bear Fun Park one day. (Camp pays for that)
- On Friday morning you will be involved in the Big Guy Challenge Run. For some of you this may be the hardest thing you have ever done.
- Our lodge has air hockey and a pool table on site. We will also have a big outdoor barbeque and fire one evening.
- You will have a set time to go to bed and wake up.
- While you will have free time during the day and evenings, you will have some meetings that you will be involved with and are expected to attend.
Camp has always been a fun experience for those who attend. You learn a lot about your team and teamates when you live with them for five days. You cannot be selfish, because your actions will affect fifty others.
